Network Marketing Training Tips

OK, now that you have researched and found that network marketing company you think you want to join you need to find out about what they have to offer in the way of training. This is very important and you need to make sure BEFORE you join that you will be on an aggressive MLM team that provides things like daily or weekly conference calls, webinars, etc. Also ask "will your upline be available for 3-way calls"? Your home based business depends on team work.

At first you are going to need all the help you can get. It's crucial that you join a team that is growing rapidly. This means that the tools you need are already in place. The strong teams will have team MLM training web sites that you can plug into. Your sponsor must be willing to take you under his or her wing until you feel comfortable on your own. If all you are is a number in their downline then pass and find someone else to sponsor you.

Most network marketing companies if not all companies teach you to approach your friends and family. They teach this because; they know full well it requires no skill. Ever heard of the NFL club? This stands for No Friends Left. My advice is never approach friends and family. Your success will draw them to you. Soon they will be banging on your door to help them open their own home based business.

These are just a few of the skills you will need in network marketing prospecting and sales;

Approach / Involvement- A method that I like to use is called F.O.R.M. When you have a prospect on the phone begin by asking them about their Family, then their Occupation, then what they do for Recreation, and lastly, what really Motivates them. By asking these questions you will begin to bond and trust will be established.

Overcoming Objections- Rejection is something you are just going to have to deal with. Don't make it personal. It's not you they are saying NO to. It's the opportunity.

Ability to close the sale- Practice,practice,practice. Your team should have "phone script" you can use throughout the presentation.

Qualifying - Don't waste your time with someone who obviously is not interested. Make them listen to an "business opportunity or sizzle call" before continuing. If they are not willing to do that then move on to the next. Network marketing is not for everyone.

Prospecting / Cold Calls -This is the toughest part and again requires lots of practice. Use a phone script that has proven to be successful for your team. There are many good books out there on this subject which you can find in our Network Marketing Do's and Don'ts section.

Presentations - Learn to master the PowerPoint Presentation. This is an extremely useful tool. Your team should have one you can download.

Time Management - You get out what you put in. Treat this like a real business. To work from home IS a luxury and can become an everyday reality when you know how to leverage your time.

Telephone Technique - again, use phone script from your team

Computer Skills-

This is one area where most people fail. It is the one area I spend most of my time teaching people just how to use their computer in their business. A computer can be a very effective and powerful tool in your home based business if used properly. I am not talking about sending out thousands of emails from it. This is the surest way to get into hot water.

If you are using a web based email system stop now. Email marketing is tough today; I cannot even get my bills that are sent online to my inbox. They end up in the bulk mail folder. This could be because someone or a number of people click by accident on the junk mail link. If you want to be a professional, you need a unique email address that is your own.

With so many different courses and people offering you training information how do you choose anyone of them? Learn from them all, the real key to success is in not believing any one source.Your Financial Freedom is dependent on you doing your due diligence when it comes to network marketing training.

Last but not least - K.I.S.S. - KEEP IT SUPER SIMPLE! Too much information will knock you out of the box when sharing this business opportunity. Don't spew on your prospect. Yes you are excited about this home based business but hold your enthusiasm down to a minimum.
